...she only wears it when she leaves the house, probably for 2-3 hours a day. Since the SMP is currently gone for service, she wears one of my automatics, and it runs dry every other day because of too little wear. :-)
I still think that this particular theory goes a bit too far.
However I think there's nothing wrong if someone just gets what he likes. I know at least one hardcore WIS who has an impressive Omega collection with a few exquisitely restored vintage dress Seamasters, which he never wears because he thinks they look like toys. Today's "big" SMP is by far not as big as Omega's offerings from the 1970s anyway.
