I must admit that my first thought was exactly as Dereks. I didn't see the misalignment until you described it. It looks very strang, I have never seen anything like it.

AFAIK, the inlay of a SMP bezel isn't changeable so I don't understand how it came out like that. You could asl on TimeZone Omega forum where Damon (he is a watchmaker) would be able to give a better answer.
