IMHO, the problem you pointed out is NO concern at all.

Why? a bezel ring is probably the simplest parts on a watch. I replaced the bezel insert of my Rolex Submariner with an aftermarket part (Fake, in a strictly sense). I could not notice ANY difference. This thing is just too simple for anyone to make such obvious mistakes.

Sometime common sense can avoid being paranoid.
