Pierce, you're not the only one. I tried a Bond Nato Strap on my 2531.80 and yep, there's something that's just not quite right about the mixture. The blue dial of the watch does not go with the black stripe of the band. Shame.
I've opted for a navy blue leather band in the meantime (while I polish the bracelet) and that's not a bad look...for a while anyway. It gives the watch a 006/Trevelyan/"Goldeneye" look. I won't keep it on for long, though. After all, who wants to wear the bad guy's watch.
