First and foremost I was only trying to help you BUT if you read all his feedback which I have you will notice some very unhappy folks who receieved cheap junk (I'm glad your happy and received a real Omega))....last word I say on this matter....BUYER BEWARE :
Thanks for all your responses
: Firstly I would like to say that there is a
: misalignment and certainly no parallax
: error, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm
: looking at.
: Secondly I would lie to assure all who are
: concerned that this oddity takes nothing
: from the pleasure I get from it. (I had
: spotted the imperfection in the photos
: before buying the watch).
: Thirdly I'm 99.9% certain that the watch is not
: fake, it does everything that a Seamaster
: Pro should, the movement is correct and has
: the time zone change feature. Frankly the
: build quality is so good, that if it were a
: fake the faker should be working for Omega.
: The photo's on Ebay did not do the watch any
: justice (in fact they did it an injustice),
: I was amazed when I got it at how new the
: watch looks.
: I will say that the seller was excellent and
: did exactly what he said he would do. Yes
: buying a watch from overseas was a risk, but
: for me it paid off, I think to describe the
: seller as selling shaky stuff is unfair
: unless JimC has had first hand experience of
: dealings with this guy. He does have
: excellent feedback
: The watch will be going for a service next week
: and to get some links fitted to the
: bracelet. I will enquire about the bezel and
: let you know
: Cheers
: Jon
