I put my watches in a watch valet box and hide it under a couch!This way the watches are out of site....and the familys hands too!
I dropped my Breitling once,but it was ok,no damage.I think the quartz watches can take drops a bit better,but I do know the automatics are fun and do have a "soul" as they say in watchland....
