some precision about 1987-99 omegachrono movements *LINK*

hi all

from 1987-99 omega used valjoux 7750, 7751 and eta 2892+ dubois depraz chrono module in the semaster professional chronodiver, speedmaster reduced, speedmaster date and speedmaster day date. These movements aren't bad but their finish and their don't equal the lemania and piguet movements like the lemania 5100, lemania 1341 or the piguet 1185.If you want a watch that will last and last buy a piguet powered omega chrono or a lemania omega powered chrono. If you like valjoux buy valjoux but remain as a matter of fact that the lemania 5100 is the most rugged, legible and precise selfwinding shuttle cam chrono movement in the world. It is not a "nice" movement in terms of aesthetic but it is a highly reliable and precise movement.see chuck maddox article.

regards

georges
