: Got a SMP pro and popped a can of coke under a
: running tap of water with the watch on. I
: didnīt notice until afterwards that the
: crown was out due to the normal use. A
: little moisture got into the watch. I didnīt
: even wash my hands with the SMP, just popped
: the coca-cola with the tip of my hand.
: Anyway, I left the crown open and the moisture
: dissapeared after 20/30 minutes (ambiente
: temp around 27/28šC).
: Itīs running great now.
: Question: should I take it to an inspection ?
First:
Get it to a watchmaker ASAP!
Second: What do you mean by,"...crown was out due to the normal use"?
THE CROWN SHOULD ALWAYS BE SCREWED DOWN (= "IN")!
Screwing in the crown secures it against the case and ensures that stuff like that does not happen.
Read your owners manual.
