my preferences in terms of movements

Hi aaron

that makes me pain to hear that but that confirms what i said about valjoux 7750 or eta 2892-2+dubois depraz chronomodule movements, they are not enough good or as good as piguet or lemania movements over the long run. I prefer a good old lemania 5100 or lemania 1341 powered omega from the early 70's or the early 80's than a new and unreliable watch. Many other non omega owners that i know who have valjoux 7750 powered watches encountered the same problems.Even in old movements, i would rather have a 57-68 speedy pro pre moon with cal omega 321 than a 63-69 heuer autavia with valjoux 72.When you compare the two movements, the quality of the omega lemania 321 finish is far far ahead the valjoux 72.After the 321 ceased, the omega 861 or lemania 1873 appeared ant is till today a reference in handwound shettle cam chrono movements. Its competitors the valjoux 773x,774x and 776x could never compete wth him because of their average quality. There are 4 omega chronos that i like a lot because of their piguet or lemania based movements: omega speedmaster professional, omega speedmaster broad arrow, omega deville prestige coaxial chrono, omega semaster professional america's cup chrono and the good old 71-84 lemania 5100 and 1341 omega powered chronographs.

regards

georges
