I have the newer Speedie style bracelet and love it.It has a nice simple clean look, and is easier to size due to just one managable roller tube in the links. Those ting collars the older style uses can't possibly hold the braclet together over time as well as one longer single tube,I'd think.
But with that said,I'm thinking buying the original Bond watch over the newer "Electric Blue"/sword hands version, since it too resembles the black one with the same bracelet and hands.
The old Bond has those truly "unique" hands!
I would like to own both versions of the SMP bracelets.....
: The Bond bracelet is far superior to the
: Speedmaster style bracelet in every way. The
: Bond bracelet has a more sophisticated look
: to it, the links are much more flexible and
: move very smoothly, and the bracelet itself
: does not taper down where it meets the
: clasp. These are all things that are not
: true of the newer style bracelet. In all
: honesty, the newer style bracelet just looks
: and feels cheaper.
