If you buy it from an authorized dealer. Read the sections on Gray Market on this site.
But also realize that the UK will LIKELY charge you duties and taxes to bring the watch back home with you. So there are hidden costs buying abroad.

Watches are normally covered under your homeowners or renters insurance. So the extra you pay for separate insurance merely covers the deductible.
