Hi, I have ahd a horrible experience with my seamaster chrono pro. Its self-winding mechanism failed me 3 times in one year. (The watch is less than 2 years old) When wound by hand, it kept its reserve, but the self-winding system did nothing unless shaken severely. Wearing the watch, it would stop and stay that way. I sent it for repair, it came back scratched and still not winding automatically....I sent it back again...they polished it and repaired it...finally....But a couple of months later...same problem. I sent it back, it came back repaire, but scrached even worse than the first time. I expect it to fail any time soon since they did not change the movement, but probably simple cleaned and oiled it (maybe they simply shot a bit of WD40 in it...who knows) THEY = omega service in Canada (Toronto). The watch was shiped in a paper envelope.....I couldn't beleve it...is this a normal method???? Anyhow, I don't know what to do anymore. This experience is turning into a nightmare. I car for the watch like a sound person would care for an omega....like for my eyes. Has any one had a similar experience? Any sugestions? I will certainly not send it back...its damaged enought!. Thanks...DJT.
