I think that it is quite popular, but not as popular as Seamaster Bond, though. Maybe it is because of the fact that it is relatively new. The Bond version has been there for quite some time. And the GMT's bezel and dial are quite bold. One either loves it or hates it. I don't think we can say that one watch is popular or not by looking at the sales section on TZ. On the other hand, there are usually talks about GMT in the public forum every now and then.
I don't have a wallpaper, sorry. If you saw the real thing and like it, go for it! I don't think I bought my watches because others like it. I bought them because I like them. :)
