I feel a bit angry today.
I very recently bought an Omega from an authorized dealer (mail order). When I received it, I noticed that there was a fleck of dust/metal underneath the crystal.
So today I brought the watch into my nearest Omega authorized service center (San Francisco). The guy there acted like he didn't want to work on the watch and he said I would have to leave the watch for 10 days.
Meanwhile, the guy next to me at the very same place had bought his watch at Costco and was getting great while he waited service. The difference is he was paying them for it and I was trying to have my service done under the warranty.
I know this service center could clean my watch on a while I wait basis, because a few years ago I had a grey market one and paid for it and they did it while I waited. Now with my Omega warrantied watch I have worse service than if I had no warranty.
