accuracy trending

About 2 years ago, I made up a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to trend the accuracy on my (back then) new SMP. The watch has run just fine and I stopped using it a long time ago. Yesterday, I was cleaning up some computer files and I ran across it.

It allowed me to simply enter the time and date of the beginning and ending of a timing test, and it would give you the error in seconds per day, seconds per month, and 5 day running average error. It also has some automated charts on the other worksheet. It has lots of instructions and is very easy to use if you only know the rudiments of excel.

If you REALLY want to know what your watch is doing, this is a great long-term tool...no vibrograph needed, just www.time.gov.

If you'd like a copy, please email me...it's free, but be patient 'cause I don't always check email everyday.

Have a good day,

MMC
