"My response was: your Omega Certified Watchmaker should fix it, and like most warranty issues, you should bill Omega the repair cost.... isn't that how it works?
They said they never heard of such a thing in any industry, much less watches!!!!"
That dealer was full of S**t. Most industries do honor warrantee repairs. For example, electronics and automobiles.
If you buy an Audi in CA and move to FL, you can have warrantee work done in any Audi dealer. Any dealer. Likewise with a television or almost any other product.
I?d contact Omega and ask them about their warrantee policy. If the dealer was wrong. Report it to Omega.
