I had a black, full-size quartz with the new type bracelet (2002) for about 18 months. Then I bought a blue full-size "Bond" 2531.80
I know this is a personal thing, but the blue is the classiest watch I have ever owned! The blue face, actually seems to be different shades of blue depending on the brightness or the type of light or even the angle of your view. The black face is just...black!
My black quartz is history now: my vote goes for the original (and in my opionion) the best, blue Bond watch.
