I too had a black full-size quartz, but have now switched to a 2531.80 "Bond Watch" Chronometer.
Yes, it is arguably less accurate over a given period of time, than my quartz version, though still well within COSC standards.
But for me the pleasure is that the "chrono" is entirely mechanical - full of little gears, springs and weights, all whirring about, all keeping time and with without batteries.
No disrespect intended, but if you are really so worried about that degree of accuracy or getting the watch banged or knocked, go buy a cheap digital Timex.
