I have 7 1/2" wrist. 5'10", 165 lbs. I would not give comments like that:"The Mid-size looks too much like a kid's or lady's size watch."

Maybe its just me, I feel 39.3mm full size is definitely a little big for every day use (i mean you can wear under the shirt.) Don't get me wrong, I sold my SeMP full size just a month ago, and I've been wear it in the past year or so (mostly during summer though.)

The following are the pictures of my wrist shot for 35mm Aqua Terra, Mid-size SeMP, 38.8mm Broad Arrow. I feel that mid-size is good for every day use. Actually,IMHO 36mm is a good size for most people. Does the watches look like "kids or lady's" watches?
