Re: Seamaster Pro full vs mid size: advice needed

I, too, have 6.5" wrists. I am 5'9" and weigh 165 lbs., but I have a very athletic (some say skinny) build. I own the full size 2531.80.

I had to have one full link removed on each side of the bracelet plus one half link removed from the 12 o'clock side. So, in all, only two and a half links needed to be removed in total. When I tried a tighter fit (3 full links removed), the watch felt horribly tight in hot, humid weather. Thus, your concern about needing to have too many links removed should not be an issue.

I chose the full size model because I felt it just looked better on me. The mid size looks like any other watch I have ever owned in terms of size, so I wanted something different and special. Now that I wear this full size watch every day, all other watches look small to me. I wear the Omega for dress and casual occasions, and it looks great in all cases. Many people have admired my watch, and not one person has commented on its looking "too big".
