: Anyone familiar with a Seamaster maked
: PROFESSIONAL CHRONOMETER yet with a movement
: maked 1108?
The are a few that have the 1108 that are automatic but do NOT say CHRONOMETER ON them. Those unusual pieces are documented here in the Seamaster Galleries (see link below).
But is should NOT say CHRONOMETER and have an 1108 movement -- the 1108 is not chronometer certified. The 1109 is the same movement as the 1108, but was sent for certification. Many SMP were made with the 1109 movement up through mid 1997 -- at which time OMEGA slightly revised the movement and renumbered it to 1120.
