Very true, I was so anxious to buy one I never went into a store and tried one on. I really wish I had now, but don't get me wrong just because its too small doesn't mean I have ANY negative thoughts about the watch, size really doesn't matter, it just takes me a little while to adjust, however on the posotive side when my wrist is sore or tired from one of my larger watches I slide on the SMP and its like vacation!

I had planned to own several SMPs from the start so there is no real dilema, I guess I'll turn this into a public service anouncement saying: ALWAYS TRY ON A WATCH BEFORE YOU BUY IT, don't do impulse purchases and try on every model of interest before you make a decision!
