a couple of basics

From the case ref 196 indicates that it is a waterproof electronic Gents watch, with a date ( non-chronometer) - But I guess you can see all of that for yourself !

The movement number 3960873 is unusual it should be an 8 digit number. 39,XXX,XXX dates it at around 1975. A 7 seven digit number 3,XXX,XXX dates it at around 1908 ( now that IS a rarity, a quartz watch from 1908 !)
