I purchased a Seamaster Chronometer last December (2002). I've had terrible luck with it and am starting to regret my purchase. The retailer has provided me with 3 different watches. All three have had the same problem. They all seem to stop at night, or during the day, for no reason. I wear it 24/7, and don't even take it off when i'm asleep. I've read the info about winding, and know i'm active enough to keep it wound. (i never take the thing off!) So I'm wondering if there were perhaps a run of bad movements, or perhaps some recall, or any odd circumstances that would cause this to happen. I'm not hard on it, I don't even dive. The retailer even told me that the chronometer/stopwatch movement has had problems and urged me to trade the last one for a non stopwatch model. Were they misinformed? I can find nothing on line to support that statement. PLEASE HELP ME. I'm really annoyed with this problem, since this morning, the 3rd one, which i've had for just about 4 months, had stopped at 2:15am. I had gone to bed at midnight, so it only lasted just over 2 hours.
