The triple gasket system used in the Omega Seamaster for the H.e.-valve is absolutely waterproof to 300m, even if you have the crown unscrewed. The important spring suspensioned gasket is inside the crown's coil of the helium valve. This will always be tight and waterproof. Only higher pressure from the inside, due to the decompression phase professional divers undergo, from expanding Helium that leaked into the watch will release this special gasket. That is why there is such a valve at all.
