Hi,
Can anyone tell me why "Omega" needs my serial number for a copy of the COSC certificate?
Isn't the model number enough?
Do they cross check the serial numbers of every watch to see the test of that watch and send out the results of that specific test or do they just send a similar certificate for a similar movements (does the certificate carry the serial number)?
I read in the site that there is no use in asking Omega for the COSC warranty as it is the same as "inspected by No. 12" notes that you sometime find in your pants but If the serial number is being matched in their records I think that there is value in asking them for a copy as this is proof of authenticity
Am I wrong?
