the sentiment is unanimous that the "Bond" basket weave bracelet is far more comfortable than that of the speedy style they are now implementing on their current line...I also find it curious as someone said above that their "bond" model was their best seller yet they are moving away from one of its most distinctive characteristics with the rest of the seamaster line (the bracelet)...I wouldn't be surprised if in the near future we see the next James Bond with a current SM300 style SMP instead of his trademark Bond model.
I do agree with Keith though in that I don't think the switch will hurt sales, if anything it will help them as the Speedy while less "refined" looking IMHO is far more "manly" looking than the older style.
