The rediscovery of my 1969 Constellation, "lost" for 10 years, has been like the return of an old friend. As described elsewhere, the watch is now on its way to La Suisse for repair/restoration. My questions: (1) Does restoration dimish the value of the watch from a collector's standpoint? I've already decided that someday I will personally give this watch to one of my grandsons, so I'm asking out of simple curiosity. (2) Does/did Omega market different models to different markets? After several days of searching on eBay, the closest match I've found to my watch is one being offered in Singapore. I bought my watch at a military PX in Bien Hoa, Vietnam, so I'm wondering if this particular version was aimed at the Asian market.
