Will probably not contact you until they have examined the watch. Typically, they would just do the warranty service and return it. But since you requiested a quote on optional work, they should contact you with a quote on that before the watch is returned.

If you wanted to know when it arrived, that's what delivery receipts and postal tracking numbers are for.
