Not that I've ever heard. The Omegas with that issue were the Speedmaster Reduced and the Dynamic.

The white dial GMT came out in 2000 and has always had that bracelet. The black dial version was introduced in 1998 and originally had the Bond-style Seamaster Pro bracelet (but with a hidden clasp instead of hte SMP diver's clasp), though has now been switched to the same style bracelet as on the white dial GMT (though without the all brushed finish).
