Most new OMEGA steel watches are in the £700-1500 range and even current/recent used ones generally sell for £500 or more each. So it should have been extremely obvious that someone selling them for £50 each (one tenth of what real ones should be worth) was peddling either counterfeit or stolen merchandise.
