: How do you use the bezel on a watch? I only
: know one use for it, which is to see how
: long time has gone by putting the main dot
Depending on which version of the SMP you got, you can use the bezel to:
1) set the countdown timer for the remote detonator,
2) remote control steering for the BMW,
3) activate the homing beacon or emergency lighting system,
or 4) see how long time has gone by putting the main dot on the minute hand.
But other than that, not much else to use it for.
The differently calibrated bezel on the Seamaster GMT can be used for indicating an additional time zone.
