Hmmmm that's what I was afraid of. I would only use a real Omega part that was intended for the specific application, of course.
I was thinking of the skeleton when I came up with the idea, and I thought they had a stainless skeleton from which the part could be lifted. But it makes more sense the skeleton I am thinking of is white gold, not stainless, because it is such a special watch.
Would Omega make the part for me? Might be worth asking, I don't know. Anyone who's dealt directly with the company think this is even a remote possibility?
