I went from a Seamaster Pro to a Speedmaster Pro and I like the Speedmaster much better. The Speedmaster with Hesalite crystal is ideal for every day wear actually.
You don't have to worry about it at all as you can polish out scratches from the Hesalite crystal with ease and it's cheaper and easier to replace this crystal if need be. A sapphire crystal can not be polished at all. And to replace one is more expensive. Also the Hesalite crystal gives less glare and is more smudge resistant than sapphire.
