For the answer to the NUMBER #1 most frequently asked question here--for details or value of a specific older Omega watch you have--go to: Tell Me About My Omega. | Learn more about How To Include Photos and HTML In Your Postings. | To contact someone with a question not relevant to other readers of the forum, please click on their email address and contact them privately. |
This sight, Chronocentric, is the best place on the internet for information about contemporary Omegas, particularly the Seamaster. TZ is also a great place to learn and ask questions. If you like the Speedmaster Professional and it's connection to the NASA, Chuck Maddox has a slew of excellent articles at http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/cm3articles.html I'll let others comment and make recomendations on books. You might also look (windowshop) at Used Watch sights to get a feel for what Omega put out in the past. For a good list of links to other watch sites and Dealers, again check Chucks website at http://home.xnet.com/~cmaddox/watch.html
You should have plenty there to last your retirement. Have fun, and welcome to our disease.
