Re: Help winding a seamaster chronograph

Hi,

I have the same watch so have just experimented. Once the crown has been unscrewed and it is in the first (winding) position it is quite stiff but there is no doubt it is winding and no suggestion it is stuck. If you are sure you are fully unscrewing the crown (several turns)then it does sound like you may have a problem. Just to be sure you should need to unwind the crown several turns from fully screwed in and then should feel the crown spring out very slightly. Without doing anything else that is the winding position. Pulling the crown out once more gives you date change and once more again stops the watch to set the time. Hope you get it sorted.
