I own a omega seamaster 2531.80 james bond full size. it has been with me for almost 2 years. I love it!!!
i went thorugh that same ordeal whether what to choose. i chose between the seamaster and the submariner because in terms of style and durability both are equal.. but in terms of prestige, i still think the rolex brand is more prestigious.
don't get me wrong, the omega brand is also prestigious in its own way. but a rolex will always be a rolex! a word of caution...... remember that the rolex has sooo many imitations (fakes). which makes rolex become over exposed and it would be hard for a rolex to look like a rolex because people would normally ask (is that rolex real???). Rolex is also double the price of the seamaster.
i believe that value for money go with the seamaster! its beautiful, durable, sporty yet elegant and the omega brand has indeed a remarkable history in watch making.
