I can understand your frustration. My sister had to return a new $18K gold Rolex to be repaired. Not only did it keep very poor time, but the crown broke off while she was winding it. It was repaired under warranty and is now keeping good time. The point is, you can have problems with ANY brand of watch.
My new Speedmaster Pro is working perfectly, which I think is the case with 99.9+% of them. I'm sure you'll get a good one as a replacement. Let us know.
: I’ve just returned my new Speedmaster Pro,
: unworn, because of a ‘jerking’ chrono second
: hand fault, and am currently awaiting
: delivery of another.
: Are there any other known manufacturing defects
: I should be looking for when I check out the
: replacement?
: What’s the general view of Omega’s quality
: control, these days? I always though of it
: as legendary but am having doubts after the
: recent experience.
