two of my OMEGAs were defective at the purchase. and boy, am i glad that i bought them from authorized dealers.
another watch i bought from grey market had a problem. it was a pain in the... you know where, to have it fixed with their extended warranty. i'd recommend authorized dealers.
hope you all had a very merry christmas! (and i'm jealous if any of you have received a new watch as a gift...)
