Without a photo, it is impossible to tell. OMEGA has made thousands of model s over the years and -- duh -- they all have various hands, logos and dial markings. None of that is distinct detail to tell one specific model from the rest.

Also, you omitted saying whether the watch was mechanical or quartz and if you have any vague idea how old it is.

Only tiny bit of useful info in your description are that it is 14K gold. OMEGA does not make 14K cases in their Swiss factory. But in the 1960s and 70s, to appease the demand for 14K gold jewelry in the USA, OMEGA sold finished movements to distributors in the US that made the 14K gold cases and assembled the watches here for sale to US customers.

The way you describe setting the time sounds very odd. I doubt that was the way that watch was intended to operate. I suspect the crown and stem have simply fallen out. Need to have a jeweler find you a replacement.
