Re: New to me
In Response To: New to me ()

Hi Linda

To identify this the back must be opened. Inside the case back will be a case number, usually 3 digits and then 4 digits (166-1234).

On mechanical watches Omega places a movement reference number, I've never looked at an Omega quartz movement so I don't know what sort of identification to look for. The movement should, however, have some form of Omega logo/identification present and I would have thought a serial number.

Was the watch sold as being new? I ask because it does not sound like anything currently offered by Omega, at least based upon what is shown on their web site and offered by on-line stores. It might help also if you indicated which country you are in, as there are model variations from one country to the next.

Good luck

Kevin
