You have identified the main downside of buying from an unauthorized dealer.
You must get some kind of warranty from Costco.
I am sure that they are not going to go bust anytime soon.
Make sure that the serial number is visible on the
watch.
Mind you now, there are a few authorized dealers
that sell at great discounts, IE 30% +
So, there might not be such a great price difference after all. Additionally, if you order
from out-of-state, you can save a few bucks off
of state sales taxes.
With that in mind, if you like the watch, the
price is right and it fits, well good luck!
