Hello all, can anyone recommend the lowest price authorized Omega dealing in the DC metro area?
I would like to buy the Omega Seamaster 2531.80.00 (the Bond one without the 007 logo on the face).
Also, I saw one in Costco here at Pentagon City...I assume this is a "gray market" watch as discussed on the web site, but I am certainly tempted to buy that one. Costco is selling this same watch for $1,195...which is a lot off the list.
However, this web site has mostly convinced me that an authorized dealer is the best bet...but I can't imagine paying full retail. Surely the markup must be huge on these watches and at least one of the dealers in the DC area will "deal." I read somewhere that some dealers will go 20% or more off. And, I would not mind buying online from an authorized dealer (as opposed to an online Omega dealer, Jomashop comes to mind).
Thanks much for any recommendations,
Shane Canfield, Alexandria, Virginia.
