Bezel on SMP

Hi all, question from one who has never owned a nice watch before. On the SMP, if I press the bezel down on one side, it moves down a little, then if you press on the other side, it moves back. I'm not talking about the normal spinning of the bezel to track minutes, but an up and down movement. Is this typical and to be expected because of the moving bezel or is it not typical? I'm not talking about much movement. Thanks, Shane
