as I would have liked. They had a picture, discussed the features, and then interjected a bit of "editorial" review in each blurb. They also had a box with the technicals of the movements. They didn't rate the watches from 1 to 7. Nor did they rate the movements 1 to 10.

(By the way, the brands were Omega, Rolex, Sinn, Chronoswiss, Frank Muller, Ulysse Nardin, and I want to say Blacpain.)

Anyway, they only said that they found the Rolex to be the "best buy" and that with a superior movement (probably due to Kif, Berguet spring etc..) it was a better investment. They also noted the superior Dial work on the rolex which was evident from the pictures.

The Omega's minuses were the "loud" ratcheting of the bezel and one other thing wich I forget. Most watches had a minus, the Rolex didn't.

The magazine is published in Germany, I think, or maybe is related to Uhren magazine, because all of the prices were in DM and they keep referencing Uhren magazine.

As both a Rolex, Omega, and Breitling owner I found it interesting and refreshing that a magazine was objective enough to actually let Rolex claim a #1 in anything.

regards

Sam
