: How many diffrent 471 movments are there? I've
: seen them listed with 17 jewels, mine is
: marked 19 jewels, I've seen 20 and 24 jewel
According to OMEGA DESIGNS, the 470 was introduced in 1955 as a 17 jewel movement. The 471 was a modification of the 470, made in both 19 and 20 jewel versions.
The book shows only the 470 and 471 in the 47x series and gives no indication that there was ever a 24 jewel variation of this movement.
