sizing the bracelet?

Hi,

I've just bought a SMP and I find it absolutely amazing! I've heard all the complaints about it, but I must say that they are somewhat untrue - in my opinion anyhow.
There's just one thing I would like to know: How tight should the bracelet fit my arm? Of course this is a matter of individual taste, but there must be a general opinion. I've been told that there ought to be an equal amount of links on each side of the clasp - is this true? Right now there are 5 links on each side. My wrist measures 17,5 cm = 6,9 inches, thus the watch is a bit loose. Should I have one removed?

Any recommendation would be appreciated.

Best regards, Lars Bo Lund
