1950 Omega Seamaster Automatic

I have recently purchased a 1950's Omega Seamaster Automatic (Dress watch)and not having that much knowledege about Omegas - I was wondering if it might be a fake! What should I look for to find out if it is genuine? The back does not have the seamaster logo on it but the mechanism has the Omega brand on it! Any help would be much appreciated
