I was considering buying an AC Chrono but with the state of their after sale service I think I'll pass. I already have a Moon Watch and an older quartz SMP so maybe my next will be a Rolex GMT Master II.
Now I have another problem.....what do I do when my wife's smp needs a battery? I posed this question to Klaus Lehmann and his response was they'd handle that when the time comes.
In the end, I really want a refund and I'm hoping this happens as Klaus also wanted me to send my sales slip when I send the watch back for the 3rd time. If not, I want a NIB unit be shipped to me so I can sell the watch and get at least some of my money back. An expensive watch is more than something you slap on your wrist. The experience encompasses how you are handle after the sale ... this has been ruined for me with this watch.
