I recently read in the new Men's Health magazine that a man should own one dress watch that should only be worn with his finest suits and/or a tuxedo. They said that it should be on a leather strap and be of a reasonable size, not BIG like many of today's sports watches.
My question is, what Omega watch or watches would you say best fit into this category? The DeVille co-axials, perhaps? They seem to look the best on Omega's website, but they cost at least twice what my Bond SMP cost. Am I paying just for the co-axial movement? Frankly, they look very bland compared to my SMP, but maybe dress watches are supposed to look bland. Still, I have a hard time justifying the price for a watch that will be worn rather infrequently.
I'd appreciate your thoughts and comments.
